-Plot- When Cornelia Case is widowed she thinks that her time as First Lady of the United States is over and is somewhat relieved to give up the responsibilities of the First Lady. Then she discovers that her husbands successor, who has no wife of his own, wants her to remain in her role. Sick of the restrictive life of the First Lady Cornelia runs away. Mat Jorik is a journalist who is desperate to win back some of his integrity after selling out for a lot of money.
