This is one of my favorite books. I have an old copy and a new copy recently purchased because i love it that much. I think it is a fascinating story of how families can cause heartache and pain for their future generations. Basically without giving too much away a taboo relationship is hidden away from a strict family when the couple in question run away and over the years create a perfect family however tragedy strikes and some of the fold have no choice but to return to their family. Unfortunately a sever price has to be paid for their past sins which will change their lives forever. From start to finish the characters are intriguing. This is the first Virginia Andrews book i read and it inspired me to read more. I would definitely recommend this book, a tv film was also released however it did not do any justice to this book. I guarantee it will be a book you can read over and over again,
