Advantages: GREAT HUMOUR

Disadvantages: NOT AS GOOD AS FIRST BOOK

Wrestling legend Mick Foley writes his second autiobiography FOLEY IS GOOD which continues where the first one left off.

Foley explains the effect the Beyond the Mat documentary had on his life and family after they witnessed the suffering he took from hard shots.
He talks about backyard wrestling and the effect that is having on wrestling companies and how he was made to look stupid while doing an interview about this subject.

Foley talks about how he celebrated his title win that lasted one day. This is the funniest segment of the book as he explains that he knew it would only be a day he had it for. His honesty in saying that wrestling is scripted so the wrestlers know the results makes the book more realistic and trustworthy.

Mick talks about his favourite matches and the wrestlers who helped made him good. I was suprised that Triple H comes across as one of Foley's favourite competitors to wrestle against. Other wrestlers like The Rock don't come off so well.

Foley talks about his new role as commisioner of the WWF and how that came about as well as how he got to write a second book.

The last section of the book is Foley talking about his family. This is a great section to find out about the real Mick Foley as he tell's a story of not concentrating on a match because he was looking forward to seeing Britney Spears. Foley lists his favourite things to do outside the wrestling ring and lists his favourite theme parks. From all this though it is his lvoe for his children that keeps him going and makes him stay young even though he admits his body will keep detiorating the older he gets thanks to all the abuse he took inside the ring.

While I wasn't so engrossed in this book as his first one, this is still a great read. Foley constantly writes with humour, though you can trust everything he writes as he seems so genuine. His stories are wonderful and very amusing that you just have to keep reading. There are many photos of his life in the book that are fun to look at.

Overall, any wrestling fan should buy this book, though those not into wrestling should read this to see what the wrestling world is really like.

Summary: FOLEY DEFINANTLY IS GOOD
