A guide to the food we eat and what goodness is in each food. This book covers everything. It has all we need to know about Vitamins, Minerals etc, how much is in each food item, what good it does us, how much we should have each day and so on. There is a section called `Food as Medicine` which I often refer to. It`s an A-Z of Medical problems eg. Acne, Alcholism, Blood Pressure, Eczema, Sunburn, Stress, Varicose veins......it explains what foods to avoid and advises what foods can help each problem. Which can save us a trip to the doc`s.
