Diamonds are Forever is the fourth book in the James Bond series by Ian Fleming. The story picks up a few months after the events of Moonraker and sees Bond travelling abroad to attempt to infiltrate a diamond smuggling ring. Bond needs to track how the diamonds are leaving the mines and arriving at certain jewellery stores in London. This involves him replacing a mule and experiencing the workings of the gang firsthand. This involves him meeting up with his contact, Tiffany Case, and getting details of the job, before reporting all back to his boss, M, in London. First published in 1956 this book doesn t really compare with a modern thriller. That s maybe ...
