:Background: This book is a sequel to one of her earlier books, I've never read the earlier book and had no problem reading this one without having read it. I thought that it was great as a standalone. What I understood from this book is that in the previous book Caroline, the main heroine in this book, was betrothed to a Viscount who has jilted her and married someone else. The main hero of this book, Ian, is the Viscounts illigitimate brother. :Main Plot: Caroline is going to be married off to one of her fathers friends, a man who is basically a paedophile and wants to marry Caroline because he's desired her since she was a child. ...
