I purchased this book sight-unseen after my first David Carson purchase 'The End of Print' which proved to be an invaluable design resource. This book however, was not a follow up to that publication and must be viewed in a different light. Still of considerable value, but of a completely different nature, it took me a little while to warm to this book. As the title suggests, the material in this book is photography based, not text based.
