No reader of Sci-Fi & Fantasy can't read it. All the fans know it. It's the saga of the Foundation, Isaac Asimov. How no appreciate this epic series of books where they are narrated the vicissitudes of an entire galaxy, where the innovative and originals ideas are in so much high number. For knowing the action of these two created Foundations in order to bring a serene future to our corner of universe, for knowing what is the psychohistory, for knowing which are law zero of the robotics: for all this it must read the saga of the foundation, and four novels included (" First Foundation here ", " Foundation and empire ", " Second gear Foundation ", " the hem of the Foundation ") gives us the complete panoramic of a work, which lacks only a chapter:" Prelude to the Foundation ". Asimov is a fascinating author because he narrates vicissitudes of " scientific " Sci-Fi , because she has a solid base of physical and astronomical acquaintances before . But, personally, I appreciate Asimov because it has been one of few to propose a positive sci-fi, where the future is controllable, where the robots are not golem outside control, or the modern Frankenstein with a heart of stone. Asimov speaks us about a rich future of fascination, adventure, action, but also good feelings. He gives many pleasant hours to all the fans of SF.
