Advantages: Clever, full of ideas.

Disadvantages: You'll have to read more.

This book made me love Isaac Asimov. Not only are the ideas he plays about with in Foundation extremely interesting, they are also often curiusly convincing - clearly the prodcut of much thought. This book is well crafted, with the character interactions believable, and the story very involving. It takes 20 pages or so, but then you're immersed, and you simply have to get to the end. With plot twists after plot twist, this is very entertaing stuff, which should do a lot for fans of science fiction and non fans alike.
