As some of you might know I am currently on a disability studies course but I was previously on a GNVQ Advanced in Health and Social Care course. By doing, this course you get to come across a lot of psychology text books. The book that I am doing this opinion on has to be the one of best ever psychology text books ever written. This book is aimed at people who have brief or very little knowledge psychology.

This book can be used as a textbook, for courses like GNVQ Advanced in Health and Social Care, HND disability studies and also courses like GCSE psychology. ( As there are some units in this book on the physical aspects of health and social well-being) . (I personally used it for both, I have also used this book for the HND course that I am presently on). It can also be picked up and read by anyone who wants to read about different aspects psychology from intelligence to the medical model of abnormal behavior. .

I bought this book because it is very detailed and I found it to be very detailed and it also has great pictures to accompany the text that is written in this book. At the beginning of the chapters in the book, it gives you a brief description of what is in the chapter, with key words that are highlighted in black. Then the author of the book goes in to that subject in a lot of detail covering all the key words that are bold. Also at the beginning of every chapter there are the assignment headings that you need to cover.
