This is Warren's debut book and I was pleasantly surprised. Not being a fan of Jurassic Park or Lost I didn't know what to expect. But I enjoyed it, yes there are some parts that a person like me didn't understan...more |

Great historical fiction (Cornwall 1790 - 91) with varied sub-plots. 
The election sub-plot wasn't as gripping as the rest of the story. Great narrative and characters Too much detail at times, therefore makes the book a needless 500 pages Just a fantastic read!
