I really enjoyed this book, I cannot remember where I got it from, I presume it was from my Scholastic catalogue my school library gets; however I only got this book, so I very much doubt that it was from the catalogue, considering they would have been selling all of the books in the series together. Malcolm Rose is a very well known author, well in children's fiction. I have to say that this book really made me want to finish it in 1 whole day, only it was impossible to do so. That really does show how good of a writer Malcolm Rose is! This book is set in the futures. And, happens to be set around my home town: Birmingham. It was a really weird book to read because you had to believe that cats and dogs are extinct, who could imagine that? Anyway, Luke Harding has just become a Forensic Investigator.
