***The Background*** Axel Scheffler has collaborated with Julia Donaldson on many occasions with her popular books such as The Gruffalo but this time he does it with the help of MacMillan Publishers who supply the text. This is the second book in the series that we’ve looked at. ***The Story*** “Freddy’s a frog with goggly eyes, He’s small and fat and loves catching flies.” The book then goes on to show him squelching in the muddy slime while other frogs took on in dismay.
