I have always been someone that, whilst having faith in science and understanding its place in the advancement of mankind, I also have reservations about it. It can at times, by its very nature, be too focused, self absorbed and clinical and often reluctant to see the bigger picture or admit that it doesn’t have the best approach towards understanding the world around us. I am also someone who has an active interest in environmental issues as well as being open to more mystical and spiritual ideas. Descripitive book, good for an interest in archaeology or for someone doing a degree in archaeology! Need to be properly awake to read it!

Has a lot of digrams and labels in which are very helpful!! Is quite a lot to take in from cover to cover!!
