This was my first delve in a Robert Rankin novel, having been recommended by a friend, and it was an absolute scream. I picked this title from the shop by just reading the first few lines, they made me laugh out loud and grabbed my attention in a way very few books do. This particular book is fantastic, I found I needed to pay attention to some of the characters early on so I knew what was going on later in the book, but believe me thats not difficult with this author.
