Advantages: Great description, Good story

Disadvantages: Recommended for younger audience, Hard to put down

This book was first read to me in by a teacher in primary school. I then proceeded to read the book another four times as Roald Dahl's fabulous story of the little boy who concocts a medicine for his moany grandma is absolutely enthralling. Dahl's in depth description of the ingredients and George's thoughts while making the medicine are great and the effect the medicine has on George's grandma is hilarious, making you feel happy that grandma has had her come-uppance. Maybe I'm a bit too old to like this book now but its certainly a classic.
