Giant Jim and The Hurricane written by Jeremy Strong is another fantastic children's book. Suited for children aged between 5 and 11 it is great for being read aloud but also just as good read silently by more confident readers. Giant Jim is as you can probably imagine, a Giant, and when he strolls into town he causes all sorts of trouble. But Giant Jim only wants to be friendly and find a place to live happily.
