The title refers to a countdown a reporter requests before going on air - a ten second warning to lift off, so to speak. You may recognise the face of John Sergeant - sorry, it is Sergeant, not ‘Sergent’ – as the chief political journalist for ITV news, often seen reporting from outside Downing Street or the Houses of Parliament. He also has a sideline in guest TV appearances, from Have I Got News for You to Room 101, and was once almost a professional comic actor, appearing in a Alan Bennett production after leaving University.
