'God Is Not Great' is a timely and elegant broadside against religious faith from perhaps Britain's leading intellectual figure. With clarity, vigour, and characteristic wit, Christopher Hitchens' deconstructs the numerous reasons for belief in God, pointing out their myriad logical flaws and factual missteps as he goes. Quite surprisingly, considering the subject matter, Hitchens is able to both present familiar arguments in new and interesting ways and also to bring new arguments to the table.
