It wasn't so long ago that I had just finished reading Tasmina Perry's debut novel 'Daddy's Girls', I then wrote a review about it giving it 5 stars and saying that it was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I stated I would be buying her second novel, and that is just what I did. As soon I got my amazon voucher from dooyoo (thank you to everybody who made this possible) I could not wait to process my basket and await the arrival of this book. I managed to finish this in only 3 days which is pretty quick considering I don't do late nights, I work full time and I am obsessed with just 'relaxing' infront of the fire. THE ... It has been almost a year since I have actually had the time to sit down and read a good book. Being at university I am always interrupted and there’s too much going on to really focus and also it’s just that I’ve started so many but even a few chapters in there’s nothing intriguing me to read on. I was going down south for a little break and decided maybe I should take a book on the train as it would pass time quicker even though I know when travelling I usually just listen to music. While in my local Ottaker’s I had seen their summer reads section. I had scanned my eyes over a grey cover with three glamorous girls on it called ‘Gold Diggers’ and after reading the blur ... I have read Tasmina Perry's first book and before I give you the low-down I need to explain about the Genre of this book. It is a typical 'Bonkbuster' which reminds me of the type of books Jackie Collins writes. This style of book isn't everybody's cup of tea but for those that do like it and were mad fans of Dynasty and the like will absolutely LOVE this type of book. It has everything a good Chick Lit book should have. Lust, Greed and most importantly glamour! Based in London we meet Adam Gold who owns the hugely successful Midas Corporation. He is the type of man every woman could only dream about. He is successful, handsome, sexy and extremely powerful. ... Read the complete review

I was really looking forward to Tasmina Perry's second book but I read so many bad reviews of it that I decided to skip straight to the third. However, I got this book for Christmas so I gave it a go, I'm always desperate for books to read on the train. I had low expectations of this book and I have to admit it did feel a little rushed, as if her editor was pushing her to finish it so they could ride on the success of her first book. She could also do with finding herself a new copy editor, the mistakes in this book are appalling and quite distracting to the story at times. One of the characters even used the wrong name at one point! Despite ... Read the complete review

I actually preferred this book to Tasmina Perrys first book Daddys Girls. I can normally tell if I will enjoy a book after the first few pages and this one had me gripped from the start. I literally flew through this book as I could'nt put it down (not so good if you have other things that need to be done LOL). The storyline to this book is your typical easy reading, girly storyline. Love, Lust, Affairs, Murder, Glamorous women, and Extremley rich handsome men. Its basically about 4 women who all want Adam Gold to be their man. There is also a little bit of a unexpected twist to the story at the end. The story revolves mainly around ... Read the complete review
