The Boyfriend - R. L. Stine
by Jonni_boi - written on 07/07/09 (Very useful, 110 readings)
Rating:
the series. I am not stereotyping there, well okay maybe I am just a little, but it is true, to some extent, look at all my ratings on R. L. Stine s Point Horror Books, they ve been around 2 or 3 stars. But I do have to admit the series of books he is publishing now is a lot better, such as the new series of Goosebumps! Am I a fan of R. L. Stine? I hear you ask, but my real answer isn t a yes, but also isn t a no. Maybe I m a fan without knowing I m a fan, if that makes sense at all! I have a hell of a lot of Goosebumps books, and I am trying to collect them all, based on the fact that I like reading books in order, and therefore Goosebumps has an order, for some ...

Hit and Run - R L Stine
by Jonni_boi - written on 07/05/09 (Very useful, 169 readings)
Rating:
As many of you know I have set myself a task to read all the point horror books I have. I am actually getting quite bored with them, which is shocking, however they are really good, and I am revising as well so maybe I prefer to read books rather than do revision, so I'm trying not to read until exams are over, as if that'll happen. I have 6 more Point Horror books to review, 2 of which I still need to read. I am officially a massive fan of the Point horror books and I'm dreadfully upset to find out that they've gone and disappeared. I love the way these books are created and I think they are a real inspiration to everyone who would like to go down the author career route, as ...

Goosebumps: The Creep from the Deep - R. L. Stine

me guess... You were expecting me to write a review on this book fairly soon. Well I cannot help myself. I would consider myself as a massive fan of R.L. Stine, but now, as I m growing older and older, and endeavouring in more and more adult stories, I am leaving R.L. Stine behind. I have to admit he is a very skilled author, however his works have less and less interested me due to the fact that they are aimed at about 9 year olds. Me, being 16 now, makes me "too old" to read these books (I m surprised I said "too old". Thought I ll never say that until I was old). Goosebumps have been part of my whole life. I have grown up knowing most of the ...
