Gordon Ramsay's Make it Easy In the introduction to his book, Gordon Ramsay claims that his book is aimed at those of us who have busy lives and limited time for cooking, yet he somehow warns us that "the quality of ingredients is paramount to the success of a dish and [he] always source[s] food from top quality producers." Of course, I'm using the word "warns" for a reason that you will discover soon, but let's find out what this book is about. This 256 page book is divided into nine sections: 1. breakfast and brunch 2. great fast food 3. family and friends 4. dinner for two 5. cooking for a ... Read the complete review

Gordon Ramsay - Makes it easy has been published twice, in 2005 and in 2006 with an extra DVD included. I bought the 2006 version last year and even though I have not put the DVD on I really enjoy the book that Gordon has written, which I do with every Gordon book that I could read each one over and over again. This book only 192 pages long, one of his smaller books compared to some more substantial ones, but this lends to my kitchen very well. The book continues to reflect the ... Read the complete review

Gordon Ramsey makes it easy is a cookbook that claims it can show you how to cook great dishes without spending hours or lots of money. I purchased this book for £10 in tesco. There are over 100 recipes and are covered in catagories such as summer barbies, cooking for a crowd, bellinis and blinis and posh to name a few. This is one of the cookbooks i do not use as often as some of my others and is easily forgotton. The reason for this is not the quality of the recipes which are fab and give you some great things to use especially at dinner parties. The recipes are as it claims quite easy to do, even for dishes that are known as difficult ... Read the complete review

I have used this book a few times now, and I like the simple wording of recipes and the fact that whilst a lot of the recipes are a little different, in most cases it is possible to get the ingredients from the supermarket. I think the book encapsulates Gordan Ramseys ideas that the best food is simple and made out of good products really well. The book has nine sections - breakfast and brunch (variations on the fried breakfast, salmon, scrambled eggs and smoothies) Great Fast Food (soups, sandwiches, quick fish and meat dishes, omelettes and vegetable dishes) Family and Friends (Classic family meals such as beef, pork and ...
