This book has been described as one of the best début novels of the year, and for me they are right. It has a way of drawing you in and forcing you to keep reading. I didn't put it down from cover to cover. It has a way of putting you in the scene and making you understand what is going on. A very smooth transition from adult fiction to young adult. Realistic characters, fast paced plot. Drags a little in places, cliffhanger ending.
