      great book

A while ago I was looking for some really good chick lit books for my kindle when I was going to be away for a few days and needed some reading. I googled something like 'best chick lit novels' and this came up in a list - although I'd never heard of it before, I thought it sounded really interesting and after looking it up on amazon I realised it was better to buy it for kindle as it was about £10 cheaper!

It is really quite an interesting concept: Samantha Green has had a breakdown and spent a year in her pyjamas away from her normal fast paced high pressure career as a lawyer. When she begins to be haunted by four ghosts of herself, she begins to regret the year in pyjamas. She has to learn about herself and why she got to where she was in life before the ghosts will live and her life will get back to normal!

This was definitely an enjoyable and original book. It was really quite funny in places, but there wasn't as much romance as it was more a book about finding yourself, and what she did in her life - how certain decisions can affect how you change as a person. It also had a fantasy/supernatural element because of the ghosts which was good, making it more interesting. The strength of the book was the different ghost characters - they were all really good characters with great characterization, and you could really see how they had changed into each other! Its currently about £11 on amazon for a paperback, or £2 for the kindle version.
