Advantages: THE COVER OF THE BOOK

I couldn't in good conscience leave the first opinion to stand on it's own.
Simply, people like different type of books and especially depending on the way it spaeaks to them.
Therefore, all i can say, READ AS MUCH OF IT AS YOU CAN YOURSELF, and then put it down.
You don,t it.
Get it from a library the book indeed is complex.
It was nominated for Nobel Prize but people either love it or hate it.
Before you enter any jungle, to continue the previous emailer's metaphor,it;s best to do your research, to get a map and to know the lay of the land.
You must know where you,re beginning and Where you might end up.
I would recommend that one read the summaries and scholarly critics of the book before deciding to read it.
The book is everything. It;s historical. Its satirical. Its philosohpical.
There are just simply, manybooks and theses on the book.
After reading other people's thoughts on the book and you know what you're getting into, you may be able to finish it.
The author lays things out for the reader to consider. He doesn;t make his own opinions clear and the plot isn,t too clear.
After you read how the professors lay out the complexities of the book, you'll then be able to appreciate these complexities instead of being frustrated by them. Gravity;s rainbow is a gem. It is the inherent quality of this type of book that most people don;t even bother with it.
It;s treasure it well hidden and you have to be really seeking to find it.
The brainchild of true genius.I wont even rate. It;s not ratable.
Its not any type of book.
