Advantages: A good classic, he makes you feel you are there watching

I've read Great Expectations many times I think its one of Charles Dickens best Novels he has ever written. I think that Great Expectations opens unforgettably in a twilit and overgrown churchyard on the eerie Kent marshes.

In Great Expectations Charles Dickens blends the Gripping drama with penetrating satire to give a compelling novel rich in comedy, i feel that he has created two of his finest, most hauning characters in Pip and Miss Havisham.

The story is about an orphan called Pip, he wants to meet an escaped convict.When i read this novel i feel that Dickens is making sure his readers are not gong to be missing anything, he has set the story well, i good time classic story/

This book is excellent, but towards the middle it does not stay as interesting. That is not to say that the entire centre of the book is not well written it is just not as good as the rest.

I found that i was forcing myself to stay awake and so continue reading and I certainly could not read more than one chapter at a time.
