My husband wouldn't be much for shopping especially with the crowds around at Christmas. Following me complaining as I unwrapped 10 items from Argos one Christmas morning.(I questioned the amount of effort he had put in to shopping for his beloved wife he claimed "but I had to go to two Argos's, the first didn't have everything") like that excused it we have reached a compromise.
