For those who don t know the author, Faye Kellerman has written 6 previous novels featuring Detective Peter Decker (Faye is married to popular novelist Jonathan Kellerman, who s work you might also have read) I have read quite a few in this series already so am familiar with the characters. Even if you have not read any of Kellerman s previous books, it shouldn t spoil your enjoyment of this one as it is well explained and easy to follow, without knowing the background. My partner picked up this book for me whilst i was in hospital and i loved every minute of it. It is the twelth book of the series but i managed to follow the storyline just fine without reading the previous novels.
