Advantages: Great book, not to long, teaches your child about love.
Disadvantages: large book, very difficult to stand on a bookshelf
Guess how much I love you...
This is a brilliant childrens book write by Sam McDratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram. The book itself it about a rabbit and his dad, the young rabbit is trying to tell his dad how much he loves him, however his dad is always seems to make out he loves his baby rabbit more.
The book is pubisished by Walker Books in 1994 and is a favourite in most schools, especially amongst the younger children.
The copy of the book that I own is very large (around A3 size) and is square, it is also a hardback book. It is dificult to store this book as it doesnt fit on my child's book shelf and therefore has to be laid down. Also if you are planning on reading it as a cosy bedtime story, its quite difficult as the book is so large and it takes alot of space to turn the page.
The words within the book are quite large and are printed in a easy to understand text (times new roman ..i think).
The book has a lot of images which are bright and friendly for your child to touch and look at. there are about 20 pages within thebook, however this book does not take long to read, simply due to the largeness of the text and the amount of images.
On the back of the book it says the cost is £16.99 but I purchased this book from 'The works' book shop for £4.99. Well worth its money as it will last a lifetime and I am sure my child will have lots of fun with this as he grows older and tries to read it for himself.
The back of the book reads "Sometimes when you love someone very, very much you want to find a way of describing how great your feelings are. But as Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown hare discover, love is not an easy thing to measure".
Excellent book! You will love it, and so will your children.
Summary: A really good book, i got for a really good price.
