Her style of writing is pleasant, and I was surprised to say that it actually held my attention as well as my son's, to the extent that each time I read him a story, I tend to reach for a Lynley Dodd book before most others. Wonderful. Lynley Dodd has written many books for children. The rhyming makes for good interesting reading, and the stories are good, too. This one tells of Scarface Claw getting stuck up a tree, and all the dogs hearing the noise and coming to see what's going on. And, simply, upon rescue, they all go back again.
