Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets

Harry is fresh from his first year at Hogwarts, and eager to return. However Dobby the house elf visit's his home to try and stop him from returning to protect him from the danger of another year at the wizarding school. Harry is no stranger to danger having battled non other than Lord Voldemort himself in the final few weeks of last year, a battle which he only just survived from. The visit of the house elf is a step to far for his auntie and uncle, who lock him in his room day and night. It looks like he will be there indefinitly until, Ron (his best friend from Hogwarts) flies his fathers car to his window and breaks him free!

Harrys second year at Hogwarts is as action packed and entertaining as his first. There is a great progression and developed of all the charaters in this book, and you can almost see them all grow up right in front of your eyes!

A really great read, highly reccomended.

Summary: A really great read, probably not as good as the first though
