Plot - Welcome to the fourth year at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, which as always is packed with more adventures than you could shake a firebolt at. The book begins in a creepy old manor house with whispered voices, a muggle and a murderer! How can this all be relevant to the story of Harry Potter?! For the members of the wizarding world this book starts with high excitement. It is the Quidditch World Cup, and wizards from far and wide are meeting up to celebrate the best Quidditch players in the world. It is the final between Bugaria and Ireland and their fans are out in force, hidden from the Muggle world in a very ... Read the complete review

Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is the 4th book in the Harry Potter series. It is one of the best books in the Harry Potter collection by J. K Rowling. This is where the books start becoming darker and from this point adults will start becoming addicted to the books. When the Triwizard tournament comes to Hogswart 3 schools compete against each other for the title of Triwizard champion. Harry's name emerges from the Goblet even though he never entered it as he was too young. Who entered him? Now he has to face dragons, underwater demons and fight through the enchanted maze. This is the first book where Lord Voldermort has a body thus ... Read the complete review

What strange forces would draw me in, what with me weak from disillusionment at having tried to have read "Everything's Eventual" by Stephen King but given up part way through? Well, it was something like that although I suspect many an adult has found themselves shifting from foot to foot at the thought of succumbing and buying a Harry Potter book. So it was that I recently joined the enraptured millions who have tried and tasted the schoolboy adventures of the be-spectacled phenomenon that is ... Read the complete review

This is your final warning!!!!!! If you don't want me to spoil this book for you then don't read what I've written!!! On the other hand if you have absolutely no intention of reading this book but are fairly interested in the outcome ( ie you just want to spoil it for all your mates who are Potter addicts!!!) then read on! This book opens with the creepy tale of the Riddle House, veering slightly from the norm as all the others open with Harry. However it's not long before a couple of familiar names are thrown in; Wormtail and Voldemort and we know exactely where our story is destined.... yep you guessed it this tale is all about Lord ... Poor Harry Potter. As well as creating one of the most fascinating, fictional worlds in literature, JK Rowling also knows how to put her hero through trauma after trauma and the fourth installment in the world wide success juggernaut that is the Harry Potter series is no different. The collection of seven books revolving around the adolescent trials of the boy wizard and the rest of the hidden magical community have had a huge impact on society, appealing to children and adults alike. 'Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire' is further credit to Rowling's writing talents as she continues to steer her story towards darker pastures whilst still retaining that ... Read the complete review
