Advantages: Page-turner, in a saga

Disadvantages: Writing in some places is a little thin

She's now having fun with her creations. Clearly enjoying their success and with the books all mapped out, she has concentrated here on giving us a big slice of character-driven drama that sees the saga begin to breach the adult world.....It's still what it's best at: warm accessibility, inspiring and illuminating, with loveable and loathable characters that keep the pace, and a small shortage of description and atmosphere is the only cost.

Humour surfaces now and again, and a real sense of darkness or evil can seem a bit lost amid the general cosiness, but you can't have everything when there's so much to tell and unfold.....

Basically, her books are successful because there is so much development going on through dialogue and continuous events, amid a vivid fantasy world. It also makes you feel enthused about learning and school, a bit feat for kids.

It should still make a great movie, and hopefully the next one will be even darker! I shall let u know when i finish it.....!

I love the HP books and there's so much more to say about them - like Ariom says don't assume the reader has prior knowledge. I'll re-rate too if you update x

too brief, not enough depth on plot or characters, assumes prior knowledge of the books and series for me, if you update, let me know and I'll re-rate
