Advantages: Exciting plot, interesting read Disadvantages: A little bit short compared to the other books in the series, may seem childish at times
30th June year 1997 will be remembered as the day when Harry Potter was introduced in the real world. From an initial print-run of 500 copies, with 300 being distributed in libraries, Harry Potter has become a mass phenomenon, and has introduced many to the wonderful world of fiction & fantasy reading. J K Rowling has totally managed to captivate millions with her brilliant Harry Potter series. Summary: My review of Harry Potter and the Philosophers' Stone :) |
