Advantages: Amazing storyline.
Disadvantages: None!
JK Rowling created a masterpiece whilst writing this book. Harry Potter is possibly the world's favourite fictional character, and definitely the world's favourite wizard.
An orphan, with both his parents killed by an evil wizard (Voldermort,) Harry lives with his aunt and uncle who are both terrified of magic. They have a fat son, Dudley, who is spoilt and hates Harry.
Harry knows nothing of his parents or of his magical powers, except strange things keep happening around him (there was an incident with a snake at a zoo!)
And then he begins to get letters, which is Uncle Vernon takes away from him. The torrent of letters becomes so bad every morning, that Vernon takes the family away. But a strange man finds them and tells Harry all about his magical past!
So Harry goes to Hogwarts, where he learns he is a legend, and finds himself caught up in a sincere mystery, where he learns more than he thought he could.
Rowling writes in a clear, informative way which makes it easy to understand for everyone to read. Kids love it, adults love it: everyone loves it!
Summary: This book is for everyone to read, top stories.

- 12/08/09 Fair enough, I'm quite new so I didn't know whether to explain the plot or give my opinions. Thank you for telling me though :) |

- 04/07/09 More opinion would be more helpful, rather than just telling us the plot. |
