Advantages: Very good, well written, appeals to all

Disadvantages: Its very difficult to put down- which can be a problem if you have things to get done!

To be honest, I wasn't interested in Harry Potter. A kids fiction book about a boy who is a wizard isn't exactly the first thing your average teenager reaches for, and I was no exception.

Only my friends kept talking and talking about it, in the end I got fed up of not knowing what they were on about so read the first book and was instantly hooked.

I think the books success around the world says more about it than I ever could, but it seems that people across all ages, genders, classes, nations, religions are all enjoying it. It may of been written for children but I'm yet to find someone who has read it and now enjoyed it- be it a parent who only started reading it to their child at bedtime and found they enjoyed it just as much as their child, or people like me who just wanted to know what the craze was all about.

Who ever you are, where ever you are, you have to read it!

You can buy it from any book shop, dozens of online stores including Amazon and even Ebay. Prices range, but of course the library is always free!!

Summary: A very good read

Sorry for the low rate but you haven't really told me anything about the book, Susan

Not an awful lot of information here either about the plot or the writing style, and your title is rendered completely irrelevant by the fact that the lumos spell was not introduced until a later book in the series
