The last time I read a book must have been when it was compulsory in English lessons at school. That was a few years ago now as I'm in my second year at college. Other than that I just haven't found time to read properly. Until this summer that is...

On the way back from our family holiday in Florida waiting at the airport I was bored. So I picked up the first Harry Potter book and began reading. I didn't put the book down again until I'd finished it! I read continuously for the whole 8 hour journey home on the plane! It was an overnight flight and I didn't sleep the whole time because I wanted to read.

I'd heard that the books were supposed to be really good and before I read them I didn't know what the big fuss was all about. Once I read the first book I realised why they were so popular. J K Rowling has a unique style of writing, which makes the books so addicting!

I spent the rest of the summer reading the next 3 books. I was amazed at myself because during the whole summer I read 4 books! Well those books must have been pretty damn good to actually make someone like me read them!!
