When I was seven I saw The Karate Kid and I made my parents take me to karate lessons. From then, I was hooked. I spent my entire childhood doing it, to the exclusion of anything else, it took up all my free time - I even ended up teaching karate to my own class. Because of the formative effect it had on me, the Karate Kid is the most important film in my life. Well, Healing Back Pain by Dr. John Sarno, is the most important book in my life, and I'll tell you why. Wikipedia confidently tells us: "About nine out of ten adults experience back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year." Blimey. ...
