Advantages: Helps understanding the human body's messages

Disadvantages: Not an easy book, requires spiritual responsiveness and awareness

If a light is flashing in your car, that sign is normally to give you a message, e.g. you need oil. Having the tiny bulb removed in order to stop the light flashing is not exactly going to solve the problem.
This book tries to explain how our physical bodies try to communicate with us. Each time we are sick, or not feeling well, our body tries to give us a sign, a message, therefore, getting rid of the symptoms is not the wisest act.
German born Thorwald Dethlefsen is a spiritual psychologist and the father of reincarnation therapy. He is my favourite spiritual author. He gave me almost all the answers I had been looking for in my whole life, in his previous book The Challenge of Fate.
The Healing Power Of Illness is specifically about sickness and health, covering almost everything (even pimples!) about the subject, however I would highly recommend reading The Challenge of Fate first, as the knowledge gained from that book will make the understanding of his book much easier.

Summary: Excellent spiritual book about sickness and health

The review is very short on opinion and examples. It sounds like it could be a very interesting book but you haven't given us much to go on. If you decide to add more, please let me know and I will gladly come back and reread!

Sorry for the low rating. It's not based on any criticism of your beliefs, or those presented in the book, but because the review doesn't say much.
