This is the first book in the second fantasy series by Maggie Furey. Set in the world of Myrial it takes classic fantasy and shakes it about a bit. Myrial, the world is split into sections. Each is walled by 'curtain walls' which are either produced by incredible technology or magic. The creatures contained within each land are oblivious to the rest of the planet, they each think that their little walled in patch is the entire world.
