I bought this book from Book Direct a while ago and have just finished reading it. The book is written by Rosy Thornton, who I must say I haven't heard of before and have never read any of her books before, but thought this sounded good. The book has 3 main storylines, the first is of Martha Pearce, she is a mother or Lucia and wife to Douglas, she is also senior tutor at a University in Cambridge called St Radgunds. Her daughter is depressed and refuses to go to university and her husband is a failing writer, her work is dragging on her life and stopping her life from moving on, she isn't just a senior tutor but also gives lectures, meaning she can never be ...  Read the complete review
