De gustibur non est disputandin…Theres no disputing taste is the Latin translation by Mr Stuart Hall off Its Knock Out fame for the older readers and of course his excellent, if pretencuios tongue in cheek footy reports. Love him or hate him he would be very interesting to meet to hear those stories and help polish of his extensive wine cellar. Alas the book doesn’t really serve up some of his vintage and leaves us with a brief view of his life and a house wine. It’s a collection of anecdotes and notes from snippets of his life, rather than a foul blown autobiography about this Northern enigma from local TV. The first chunk ...  Read the complete review
