Hell's Gate. ========== The story starts centred around Arcana, a planet and a universe where magic actually works. Their whole culture and the expansive civilisation on the outer planets all depend on magic. Their magicians one day make a discovery and open a hole through space and so their exploration of other universes begins. They grow even richer and more bolder as time passes until one day they come across the Sharona's. The Sharona's universe depends on technology and they are very advanced in that field. Hell's Gate. Author - David Weber. This will be a short and sweet, or should that be "bitter" sweet review. Synopsis: The basic story line is a universe where Magic actually works, meets universe where technology is supreme The Union of Arcana has journeyed through portals linking parallel universes.
