 ... wait to devour yet another book about Henry and started reading it as soon as I got home. The book is divided into sections about Henry becoming king, his "great matter", the destruction of Wolsey, the destruction of Anne Boleyn, the Pilgrimage of Grace etc so I thought this would be a really juicy read. I have a fascination with Henry VIII and his six wives and have read countless books on the subject, usually I find each one gives a slightly different opinion on Henry and how he was so I don't get bored of reading these books. Recently while attending a local art exhibition I noticed they had second hand books for sale at the back and went to have a look. This book immediately caught my eye. Apparently I look like a Henry VIII geek, the guy who sold me the book looked me right in the eye and asked "don't you already know enough about him?" which was pretty alarming and made me wonder if he'd been checking out my bookshelves!
