Unbelievable! Surely I can not be the first person to suggest this great author? His books are awesome, the man is the master of this class of writing. To the uninitiated of you, that is horror. Stephen King and Dean Koontz are okay I suppose, just while you wait for the next outpouring from the great man himself. While he it does take a while between books, each one is always worth the wait. In fact there must be another one due soon, as it been nearly two years since the last one. If you love Stephen King then you'll love James Herbert more. He is an English writer and his books are set in england mostley in or around Worthing on the south coast. The reason i like him more then S.King is his books have more realism and they cature the imagination more, sometimes S.KIng can waffle a lot but in a James Herbert book you are captured from the word go. But a word of warning...where as S.King's writing is part horror part thriller this is pure horrer and very very gory and grisly. The best ones ive come across is a trilogy of books he wrote about man eating rats the size of dogs in books called , Rats,Lair, and Domain and there ... Read the complete review
