This is the second book from Cathy Glass, the author or Damaged. I knew this would be a good read as i have read Damaged. The story is about a young boy called Tayo. Tayo has been kidnapped from his devoted loving father and been brought illegally to the UK by his drug dependant prostitute mother and he is forced to work in factory in London. When he arrives at Cathys he has impeccable manners and behaves very well at first but he hides a terrible past. On the way to school one day he points out loads of different addresses where he claims to have lived with his mother and sometimes alone. Tayo is desperate to live with his father once again but no one can ... Read the complete review

Hidden is a true story about a young boy, who is polite and well mannered, not usually the type to end in care. When author Cathy Glass (the foster carer) first see's Tayo (the foster child) she is not expecting him to be so polite. Tayo had a rough childhood but still has hope that one day he will find his father and live with him in Nigeria. I strongly ... Read the complete review

Hidden by Cathy Glass is a book I would highly recommend the book follows a young man's time in foster care. Tayo Mezer is removed from his mother's care at 10 years old following complaints from neighbours about Tayo being left alone regularly over night. Tayo is placed in foster care with Cathy Glass and her family. When Tayo arrives Cathy discovers he is not the same as other children she has care for Tayo is very bright, confident, polite and very well mannered. He is not disturbed like other children she has carer for in the past. Hidden follows Tayo through his time with Cathy as his trust develops he opens up about his past working in a factory when he ... Read the complete review
