This is the first book I bought when I started jewellery-making as it was suited to beginners, with a whole chapter dedicated to the Basics. This chapter discusses the different supplies you will need and covers different types of beads, components/fastenings, stringing materials and various tools such as pliers and a bead board. This section really helped me to understand what I needed to buy in order to make my mishmash of beads into something wearable! The rest of the book consists of 32 projects and each project covers a double-page spread with a large colour photograph of the finished piece.
