This is not my usual choice of literature but after a week in a caravan with nothing else to do whilst everyone else slept I'd read everything else left by the caravans previous occupants apart from Elvi Rhodes Mulberry Lane and I didn't get that desperate until much later in the week. Jackie Collins is infamous for holiday reads, the stuff that you wouldn't normally give the time of day too becomes a must have read on the beach. Its easy to see why. Hollywood Divorces is a really easy read and most importantly something you can put down mid chapter with no burning desire to see what happens next. I started reading Jackie Collins' novels when I was probably too young to be doing so, given the content, however I haven't read any for years. So when i saw this in a charity bookshop for a pound I thought why not? Collins novels tend to be pretty formulaic so I basically knew what to expect, but looked forward to it all the same! The Author: Jackie Collins is the sister of Joan Collins and began her career as an actress, like her sister. However she gave up on this in the 1960s and began writing novels.
