Horrible Histories is a collection of books written by the wonderful author known as Terry Deary, with illustrations provided by Martin Brown . There are loads of books in this series, which aims to teach history in a way more fun and exciting for younger people - by including some of the more unbelievable facts about the era. This particular book focuses on the Georgian Era, 1714 to 1837 , and covers all sorts of area - Kings and Queens, Fashions of the period, and common health problems of the day . Horrible Histories is a collection of books written by the wonderful author known as Terry Deary. In this collection there are many books and one of these is the Gorgeous Georgians. Cover: I know they say you should never judge a book by its cover, but lets face it, most of us do it! This cover is certainy very attractive. It has a main colour of a red, a divine shade, with a picture of royalty. There is a horseman too, which I recognised. It all looked exciting! 'Plot': The book covers the time period owned by the Georgians. It was not a topic I knew a lot about, so I was keen to read. By the end I found out plenty of interesting facts, ...
