Although the books are aimed at children in the 9-12 age bracket, I do think it is suitable for anybody older too. It is a nice and easy way to get to grips with a new topic that is thrown at you before you start trying to unravel the hard and complicated facts! Also, it makes good revision too since it is a nice size. The book has 128 pages, which may seem a lot, but a lot of it is taken up by cartoon strips and such like, so it really is n...more |

Terry Deary is a fantastic author. He is famous for his collection of books known as 'Horrible Histories'. These books cover a wide range of topics in History and are supposed to make learning fun for children. One of these is the Groovy Greeks. Plot: This particular book takes us back in time to the time of Ancient Greece and Greek Mythology. It's one of the original books by Deary but despite being older it still displays fantastic work.
