It is a nice and easy way to get to grips with a new topic that is thrown at you before you start trying to unravel the hard and complicated facts! Terry Deary is a fantastic author. He is famous for his collection of books known as 'Horrible Histories'. These books cover a wide range of topics in History and are supposed to make learning fun for children. One of these is the Groovy Greeks. Plot: This particular book takes us back in time to the time of Ancient Greece and Greek Mythology. It's one of the original books by Deary but despite being older it still displays fantastic work. The pictures inside are delightful and there are a lot of interesting facts that children can discover.
